Victoria Beckham Bags Collection

She may have lost out to Mulberry at the British Fashion Awards, but it seems Victoria Beckham's handbags are set to become just as popular.
Just sixty minutes after appearing on the net-a-porter.com website, a 2.032,76 € two-tone shoulder bag from her self-named fashion label had already sold out.

Since then, an 10.701,9 € crocodile-skin bag with chain handle has followed suit.
They were the first pieces from the new accessories range to go on sale
Prices for Mrs Beckham's handbag designs start at 1.428,91 € though some can command prices of up to 21.523,38 €

The six-piece range is built around the concept of 24 hours in the life of Victoria - indeed, the mother-of-three has been seen carrying nothing else since she got her hands on the first prototypes.
The understated designs, in matte calf leather and nubuck come in a muted palette of black, navy, taupe and blush pink.
Hardware is pale gold without a brand name or logo in sight.

The signature item is, of course, the 'Victoria' bag - a hand-held tote, but the most expensive item in the range is the unisex hand luggage, which is available in a number of luxury skins including lizard and crocodile.

  •  iPad case in vermillion buffalo - limited edition - £750
  • Hexagonal chain bag in dark sand lizard/calf, £3,950
  •  Duffle in black buffalo, £2,150
  • Victoria tote, mini in cement buffalo, £1,850
  •  Victoria tote in dark sand suede/black buffalo, £1,995
  • Shopper in black calf, £1,650

Presenting her creations at New York Fashion Week in September, she explained that she had her husband in mind when designing it.
'I had to put something in David could use. You can take this on the plane and throw your tracksuit in there - it really does fit everything,' she said.

The designs were created by Mrs Beckham with the guidance of top handbag designer Katie Hillier, who was employed as a consultant.
A spokeswoman said at the time: 'This collection is not a collaboration - as with all her ranges, Victoria has sought the best consultants to ensure the highest level of quality at manufacture for her designs.'
Hillier was named Accessories Designer of the Year in 2009, and also has her own jewellery line, Hillier London, which features animal pendants, inspired by her own doodles.
